CHALLENGE

Gnarly Nutrition provides clean nutritional products for athletes that want the very best quality ingredients as part of their supplement program. They wanted help to better understanding their audience and improving digital marketing efforts.

approach

We started by working to better understand the company, buyer, and market through primary and secondary research; through in-person interviews, phone interviews and surveying. Then we completed a comprehensive competitive analysis to better understand the market and gain further insights, for use in choosing marketing channels and in order to position the client in relation to their competitors.

With this information, we transformed the existing brand strategy and identified opportunities for growth in multiple marketing channels. We then launched a solid marketing campaign combining the power of content marketing with social channels, Search Engine Optimization, and pay per click marketing. During this process, we also lead design and development teams to completely transform the former website with improvements to aesthetics, buyer experience and mobile usability.

In addition, we reached out to the fan base for Gnarly products and created an atmosphere that generated unique client engagement and subsequently natural customer generated content.
